Major Changes are Coming to the Ukay Manila Store!

Hi everyone! I’ve got good news and bad news - but there’s more good news than bad. The bad news is that those who have been waiting for the new items to appear will have to wait til Monday, because there are no new arrivals today. But there’s a reason for that, and this is where all the good news starts.

Starting this week, the Ukay Manila Store will be run by me (Lauren) and Liz Lanuzo of Project Vanity (drop by her blog and say hi!). The partnership came rather unexpectedly and I’m very excited about it. With two people handling the store, Ukay Manila can only be bigger and better! We’ve been brainstorming like mad the past week, and these are some of the changes that you can expect from us:

1) New arrivals will appear on Mondays rather than Wednesdays. Instead of featuring mostly dresses, our items will also include more tops, skirts, and jackets of all sizes. The next batch of goodes will appear next Monday, August 17.

2) At last Monday of every month, we’ll hold an End of the Month sale where the unsold items from the first three weeks of the month get sold at reduced prices. Our first End of the Month Sale will happen on August 31.

3) Ukay Manila Store will be offering a little more than just ukay items, but I won’t say exactly what until they arrive.

4) We’re going to have the website and our Multiply site completely redesigned over the next couple of weeks. By September, the Ukay Manila Store should have a whole new look.
